The dtxpress module doesn't have a specific setting that turns
on/off choking.

The Dtxpress I module has choking available on trigger inputs 1-8.

The Dtxpress II module has choking available on trigger inputs 2,6,7.

The Dtxpress III module has choking available on trigger inputs 1-8,
unless a RHH130 is used on input 8, in which case choking is
disabled.

So you don't really "activate" the choking in the menu. The way you
get choking is you must:

1. Use stereo cymbal pad that has pad and rim switch.
2. You must use a stereo cable to connect it to the module.
3. You must set the trigger input to "PCY ride" or "PCY crash".

Press the [Trig] button to enter the trigger edit mode. Scroll down
the input trigger that you are plugging the pad into, say:

TRIG*IN = 6 ; TYPE = PCY ride

In your case you should try pad TYPES: "PCY ride" or "Misc 2"
or "Misc 4", to see which works best.

Hope that helps and welcome.
