To anyone intersted:Doesn\u2019t sound entirely koscher. The DTXpress III is not available, it\u2019ll be shipping to dealers late February/early March, and won\u2019t be available to purchase (and get delivered) until then. Sounds like they are either gathering pre-orders and will tell you something about \u201cdelays in shipping”, or they\u2019re trying to unload a DTXpress II on you.
I just got a price quote on DTXpress III from RiksMusic.com for $899
and free shipping. Estimated available in 30 days. Does anyone know if
this is a reputable outfit?

RiksMusic is usually a good store, haven\u2019t heard anything bad about them, but knowing Yamaha\u2019s delivery frame for the DTXpress III I don\u2019t think this quote is sincere.
