If I understand you correctly, you can't trigger both the bell pad and the cymbal pad through inputs 6 or 7 with a "Y" cable. The short story is that these inputs are set up to work with so-called "stereo" cymbals, which feature a piezo in the bow and an FSR switch on the edge to enable the piezo to register a second sound, as well as choking; they will not fire two piezos, whether in a single pad or in two separate pads, regardless of creative cabling. In other words, "stereo" inputs are glorified "mono" inputs, only delivering two voices under the special condtions outlined above. Two piezos, whether in a single "dual-zone" pad or two separate pads (like yours), require two separate inputs. Input 9/10 was designed for that very situation, either with a stereo cable for a single dual-zone (dual-piezo) pad or a TRS splitter for two separate mono pads. Did that help? Ed
