Andy,, One thing to keep in mind with the Dtxpress II is choking is only available on zones 2, 6 & 7. So any cymbal that you need choking for must be a stereo cymbal and must be put on one of these zones. Even with the updated chipset, zones 9/10 do not provide choking. If you want to add a crash (stereo pad PCY65S w/choking) and add a bell pad (PCY10) to go with your existing ride cymbal (mono pad PCY65), the simple way is to move the ride PCY65 and the bell pad PCY10 up to inputs 9/10, using a "insert" Y-splitter cable. Then put the new crash on input 6. That way both crash cymbals will then have choking. OGD
