First, an aside. I have recently resumed drumming after a 34 year hiatus. There is a definite theme developing here. Unwittingly, I have joined a group that has at least one thread other than Yamaha DTX running through it. Advanced years would be it. I think that thread goes to the often posed questioned concerning the issues that distinguish accoustic and electronic drums. I don't know if others have already confronted this but how about the weight of acoustic equipment compared with the weight of electronic kits. The difference really matters to me. I cannot worry much about the the realism, the relative dynamics etc. of a kit that I cannot carry. I wonder if the American Medical Association has statistics on the relative likelihood of having a coronary if you play (and carry around) e-drums or acoustic drums. But I digress ... I have recently added a PCY65s and a TP65 to the standard DTXpressII kit. I linked the PCY65 trigger from the base kit along with the new TP65 trigger to input 9/10 using the 2 monos to 1 stereo adapter. I programmed the two inputs as a ride cymbal and as a Tom 4 in this instance, respectively. Both triggers send out the same voice even though I programmed 2 different voices. The rest of the kit is working as programmed. Perhaps, just perhaps, I have erred in some way. Anybody have some light to shed? Sean
