Externally, the design appears correct. Since your reply, I opened the casings on what were to be the two mono, quarter inch jack receivers in the splitter configuration. I noted that there were three wire connections present. I would have expected two for mono and three for stereo but electronics is not my thing. By the way, the jacks at each end of the patch cords that I have used for these particular triggers are both mono. Sean, Who's the manufacturer of the splitter and what's the model number? I'll double-check the product description for you. If you use mono runs from the two pads into inputs 9 and 10 independently, do you get exactly the voice that you wanted in each case? If so, then the splitter would seem to be the problem. As for the three wires instead of the two expected inside the casing, it sounds suspicious to me (a layman), but because there's a way to balance a mono cable with three wires, the presence of an extra run, in itself, might not be a dead giveaway. One of my partners in crime, OGD, is an electrical designer, who loves to break things down and try to put them together again; he might have a more penetrating analysis. But let's get the model number of the splitter and check of the two mono inputs without use of the splitter. Ed
