After reading all the posts from all of you that have more
experience than I, the Behringer BX600 has been returned to the store. They had
nothing to replace it with so I wound up getting a full refund. Although it did
produce the nice clean highs as I mentioned before, there was a sound in there
that I thought shouldn't be there and that is why it was returned.
Prolly gonna be better off in the long run. Not sure what I'll get now. Someone
mentioned a high end computer speaker setup with a sub woofer.
Any thoughts?
Ken

I kept my tongue in Ken's case because I didn't want him to think that I was playing pig pile with his purchase. I did the same research that Vern did on the web and found the same criticisms by people who bought it (all of them for bass use, I might add). To be fair, several people were satisfied with the amp (again, for bass), and both Steph and McConaghy had good things to say about Behringer's three-way keyboard amp with e-drums. Although the Behringer BX600's reliability is an altogether different matter from its suitability for the DTXpress, it is by no means irrelevant. But if Ken is happy with it, then we should be happy for Ken. The only point at issue is whether we as a group should include it on any list of ancillary products that members generally endorse.Do you Yahoo!?
