Hey Jaymz, If I'm reading you right, yes, you can send MIDI data from Cakewalk, with or without MIDI drum commands on it, to a track on the DTXpress to which you can add drum accompaniment on another track of the DTXpress sequencer. What you cannot do is record audio material from any device into the DTXpress. Ed
