I am wondering whether or not standard triggers could be used/adapted with this particular unit. I used to use one of these with Simmons pads, MPC pads (I still have the analogue 2 channel module for those somewhere. Hmm...) and latterly some Roland pads (PD-5 I think). I never had a problem with any of them. For the Rolands I had to wire some jack-XLR cables up but I couldn't tell you what pins to use although I know that one of the three isn't used. The only thing the PMC1 really lacks is a hi-hat controller of any sort. I sold it with some pads to a friend who wanted to use it with his acoustic kit for e-tymps and effects in a club band and still does as far as I know. I wish I'd kept it in many ways as it was a good, solid, reliable unit and I could've used it to add extra inputs to my DTXpress. Chris
