I have the drums set-up in my unfinished basement...so plenty of room to screw around and just put stuff anywhere I want. To answer your question about the setup, it went really fast. I didn't even look at the manual, I just pulled the rack out and unfolded it and slapped the pads on. The cool thing is that the wires are all labeled which made wiring a snap. It will take me some time to get the settings how I want them, and to figure out how to get the hi hat to respond better. I know there is a whole new world of options that I haven't explored and look forward to doing. The bummer is I got super sick on Sunday morning, I went to play drums at my church and when I got home I went to bed for the whole day feeling like I was going to puke. And on Thursday I'm headed to Vegas until Sunday...so that doesn't leave a lot of time to monkey around till next week. I'll try to keep everyone posted about the new kit as soon as time allows. Bret P.S. Ed I ordered the Sony Headphones you recommended, and when I win in Vegas, I'm gonna get one of those Behringer Keyboard amps when I get home :^)
