Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I've ordered a dtxIII from Thomann, but they're asking for a 
photocopy of the card including the signature and a copy of a 
statement.
Is this normal practice for this company? I've never had to do this 
before.

Any help pleasE?
