Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I just got a DTXpress and I'm thinking of getting one more pad (dual zone)
to use for the snare.  Yamaha makes a dual zone pad for around $100 that
looks just like the ones that come with the DTXpress (but maybe a little
bigger).  I think the Roland V-drum pads can be used, but the big one (8
inch?) is $320.  Pintech has a new pad that has the "woven head" to play
more like a real drum and claims that it works with "all popular drum

The list price is $258 on this and my local dealer for Pintech (guitar
center) is checking on the availability and what they would actually sell
for.  It looks like Pintech took a normal 13 x 3.5 inch metal snare and
modified it with a mesh head and sensors for this purpose.  Does anyone have
any experience with this pad??
