Unfortunately, the Pinetech e-snare that I demo'd
was single trigger. I think that when I actually
go in to buy the DTXpress, I will ask about
trying out a dual-trigger e-snare. It did have a
real metal rim though, like a real snare. Pretty
nicely built unit too, no plastic on the unit that I
could tell in my quick inspection of it.

Like I said before, the feel on the Pinetech was really
nice, only problem is that I haven't had a chance to demo
other similar e-snares...so there probably is better out
there. But, it definitely helped me make my decision
about the expanability of the DTXpress brain. Now i'm
going to use the original snare as my ride and purchase
one of these nice mesh covered e-snares.

Any ideas on links to other e-pads for sale? Curious about
doing some price comparisons before I take the big plung!
