Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Rolf,

I purchased this book.  It was recommended to me anyway, so I figured I'd
get the DTX version, its the same price.

I do like the book.  To me, it appears that the content is largely still
geared at an acoustic set (on the latin rhythm studies, for example, no
reference is made to the electronic set or how to set it up).  References to
using a rim shot of which the DTX essentially has none with its single zone
pad config are present.  I'm not sure how much the book was modified from
its acoustic version, but it doesn't look like much.

The book is a very nice reference in my opinion, either way.  There are some
very good exercises to assist you in gaining independence in your four
limbs.  

But I didn't learn anything about the DTXpress from this book.
