Please go back through the archives for the many, many lengthy 
discussions and descriptions of how "stereo" and "dual-zone" inputs 
work. Bottom line: you can't do it, because Yamaha inputs are stereo 
and not dual zone.

You can get a trigger-to-MIDI converter like the Roland TMC-6 or 
(now obsolete) PM-16, or a second brain. Unless you connect the two 
brains using MIDI, you would not be able to record a single song 
using pads connected to two brains.
