The extra 10" woofer might, but you can always (or almost always) move the woofer cabinet to the corner of a room at home to increase bass response. I realize that the MSRP between the PM-3 and Yamaha MS100-DR is only $100, but the street price might be better, and if the bass is lacking (I'd be surprised), you could attach a cheap butt shaker to your throne. I'm really curious about the Yamaha. Let me know what Ed says, even if you decide to spring for it and give us a review. Ed
