Yes the Gibraltar clamps work fine on the dtxpress rack. The cross 
talk between the snare and hihat are typical. You will need to adjust 
the specrej between the two pads to a higher number (page 13 of the 
reference guide, 1-5. Specfic Rejection). 

A starting point would be:

TRIG IN = 2, SPCRej=4 frm= 8

TRIG IN = 8, SPCRej=4 frm= 2

Adjust the SPCRej number (0-9) to the lowest number that is 
acceptable.

The other option would be to move the hihat pad to the alternate 
mounting location beside the module, if you are a "heavy hitter". 
Just remember with e-drums, a lighter touch is better. Let the 
electronic do the amplification.
