Hello, It's nice to hear your support for your son's excellent choice to pursue drumming! Please check places like Drumbalaya, Riks, Guitar Center, etc. for the new Yamaha personal drum monitor systems. There are two models- 50 watt, & 100 watt. The system is comprised of two small satellite speakers that fit right on the drum rack(brackets included), and a subwoofer amp that sits on the floor. They were made specifically for the yamaha e-drums, and should perform nicely (the 100watt allows outputs for further amplification/PA, etc.) $300- $600 respectively. Good luck...keep the kid drummin' Dan
