My ancillary point is that the DTX allows the rim voice to change by velocity, which is presumably a feature of gain, rather than MIDI voice-volume per se. If so, it might affect the threshold adjustment in the magic box, and vice versa. In other words, the two would be interactive at best and conflicting at worst. Am I off the track? Ed
