Re: [DTXpress] Re: DTXPress III

2004-05-10 by Charles Baer

I recieved a DTXpIIIsp on Friday, put it together on Saturday. I seem
to recall glancing at the back panel to check for free inputs and
finding none.
Time spent with it this weekend was preoccupied with the defective RHH130
hi-hat controller component, concern was assuaged this morning after calling
the Yamaha contact named in an earlier post to have it replaced.

This is my first edrum kit, save for building a Cabonga about 30 years
ago, so
other listers may be better able to give competent opinions about it.
I've done
no tweaking, so the cymbal sensitivities that seemed backwards from rim
to bow
deserve some twiddling.

Pictures on the other hand...mebbe tonight!
