Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi Again,
 
I was wondering if it's a bad idea to mix different brands. For 
example; I found a cool Roland snare here in Japan. It's bigger than 
the Yamaha pads and it comes with a stand.

BTW I haven't been able to find it on the net. IS Roland a Japanese 
company?
