Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,

I have seen teh post where Stephanie has recomended a standard beater. I assume she 
means felt. And also a recommneds a protrective pad to stop wear of the pad. 

What I would like to know is a wooden beater better than felt? I have tried both and am 
still getting either missed beats or double beats due to the beater bouncing.

I have tried tuning teh sensitivity of teh bass pad, but have yet to find a happy medium in 
being able to play a quick succession of beats or not having bounce.

Any advice??
