I have not actually put anything into the design for variable gain at the moment, mainly because I don't know what is actually needed. I would like to put an oscilloscope on various pads to see what the signals are like. It is quite interesting how the signals from the Yamaha cymbals, kick and toms are all quite different. It sounds like attenuation, not gain, is needed, which is easy enough. I will probably bodge an adjustment onto one channel for you to try. I should have the PCBs in around 10 days time. What is the SE102? I cannot find it on Pintech's site. Is it one of the components of the "Studio Elite" set? Keith.
