In a sense of playing along at home or > playing at a small gig, i.e. coffee shops, country clubs, small > rooms, etc. Zack, Some bass amps do deliver more frequencies than others, but the mere presence of a tweeter in a bass amp does not guarantee that it will do a proper job with cymbals and even mid-range transients. The only way that you'll find out is to connect it to your kit and listen. Then connect a good keyboard amp to it for comparison. Also, amps with similar specs can have much different sonic signatures. Buying an amp without knowing such things may be relatively easy, but not necessarily satisfying in the long run. Once you know how these things can vary, and you get a sense of what you like, the whole process becomes more economical--at least in terms of time and energy, if not in terms of cash outlay. It took me years in audio to figure out what kind of electronics and speakers I prefer. Until then, I liked everything. I still like a lot, but my ears have their preferences. Ed
