   Zack, Ed said it all correctly. I have very "mild" needs in the 
way of amplification- just personal drumming downstairs- no gigs, 
etc. The MS50DR couldn't even perform to THAT level! It's not just 
the lack of volume (which I expected from 50 watts), but a pure lack 
of quality sound replication. I know headphones can't be beat, but 
this monitor wasn't even close! The drums were fuzzy and totally 
lacked any punch. Sound control was very minimal, and impossible to 
tweak with any success. I couldn't return it quickly enough-sad to 
say. All ears are different, but this gets a big thumbs down from me.
