Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Awesome Gilligan. I won't be getting an amp/speaker system for about 
6 weeks. I'd love for you to post results of your testing. My other 
idea, because I know they can take the e-drum kit's frequencies, is 
making a box of plywood and inserting in cut out holes a 15" sub-
woofer and 2 6x8 midrange car speakers. Thinking about 300 watts on 
the sub and 250 on the midrange, each. Would somehow hook up a 400-
500 watt amp. This would take some more time but would ultimately be 
portable and a cost much less than getting an amp or whatnot. The 
power would be more than enough, but I don't know if I can spare 
enough time.
