Hey Buddyrich4444, I'm so sorry to hear about your bad luck with your DTXPRESS III Kit not showing up today. I'm not trying to rub anything in, at all; however, I did receive mine today, in all 3 boxes and an extra box with the bass kick pedal and headphones in it. I have bought a couple of items from Musicians Friend before with no problem and to tell you, so at least it will hopefully help you feel a little better, I'm sure they will find it soon and do what ever is necessary to take care of the problem. I know that doesn't take care of the excitement of thinking you were going to have it all today and be able to be playing it by now and everything, however, they are a pretty reputable on-line eCommerce company and they have been for quite a while, I'm sure they will make it right for you. I know it's easy for me to say, have patience and you might even get something worth while out of it for having patience with them. They will probably offer you something for free for having patience with them, or something like that. I don't know. The rack box weighed, I would say probably about 45 lbs., I'm not sure. As far as having any ideas about how you could set it up and possibly play it until your rack get there, I really don't know how that would work. I hate to say it pretty much needs to have the rack in order to work right to make it secure and not wiggle or bounce all over the place and everything. Any way, again, I'm really sorry about all your trouble. I know that I have ordered hundreds of things on-line before and I've never had anything, worth speaking of, happen negatively to me in regards to shipping or anything else. I'm sure things like this happen every once in a while with all of the companies, so far I've just really been lucky. I wish you the best of luck in finding the rest of your kit and you will be glad once you have it all. It is all worth it. It is fantastic to play. I don't remember how you were amplifying it, however, I'm one of the ones that was talking about buying a Behringer KX1200 amplifier and I did. This amplifier is fantastic. I don't know what else to say about it other than it is just right down awesome. It sounds greattttttttt... Any way take care and I wish you the best. See Ya later, Glen P.S. Let us all know the outcome of it all, will you. Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: buddyrich4444 [mailto:PilchersSquad@...] Sent: Tuesday, June 01, 2004 2:49 PM To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DTXpress] DTXPRESS rack MIA talk about torture: I get 2 packages from musicians friend today (they took over a week for "3 day select" because of the weekend holiday). Well with my bad luck - the rack is not with it. The company said they aren't sure where it is and to "call in a couple days if I dont hear"- so I wont be seeing it anytime soon I guess. So I have the complete DTXpressIII brand new with no rack sitting right next to me , MAN. Can anyone give me info on the rack and stands? The company claims it to be 70 Lbs packed but I thought it was a lot less. What can I do without going crazy? Can I set it up on a bed or something? Any help would be appreciated- this is the last item I will ever buy online in my life because literally the last 10 things I bought turned out to be major headaches and never worked out like they should.
