Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Does anyone have an old Alesis D4 (or DM5) lying around in the back 
closet or serving as a paper weight? I wrote a review of the Sherpa 
snare with a DTXpress module a few months ago (it's in the Files 
section), but the snare was never made to be used with a Yamaha 
module. Its natural mate is an Alesis. I told Philip Hamailton of 
Sherpa that I would balance the review with a trial using the 
recommended module, but I haven't had the chance yet. And I don't 
have an Alesis. If anyone near enough to Massachusetts has one not in 
use that s/he's willing to lend me for a week or so in July, I'd 
appreciate it. Obviously, I'll pay shipping and guarantee its safety.
