Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Am I the only person in this group stuck in front of a computer today 
with a little time on his hands? I just exchanged a private post with 
Keith Raper, the intrepid inventor of the so-called magic box, about 
the strange labeling of the sensitivity switches on the back of the 
DTXpress module as "attentuation" switches, which leads to the self-
contradiction of "high attenuation" actually creating greater gain. 
Also counterintuitive is the setting of longer decay on voices by 
deceasing numbers into the minuses. Can anyone think of other 
convoluted, malaproprian, oxymoronic, or otherwise unhelpful wording 
or guidance in the Yamaha manual, or any other manual?
