Found it!! That's great. And again, once I make that change,
that's a universal change, and all drum kit setups, including all
the canned setups on the module, will reflect that change. Correct?

Pulled the III manual from the website. Look under Input Exchange in the
Trigger setup that looks like this:

TRIG Common
In Excg= normal

This is what it is normally setup for, you can change this to

In Excg= 1<-->9 ( it may say 1<-->9/10 in the Dtxpress II module.)

And yes it is the "vibration" that is causing the cross-triggering of the
pads.

Hope this helps.

Old Guy:

Thanks for your response.

I have my manual with me at work, but I'm not seeing any UTIL mode
that talks specifically about swapping those two Inputs. Is it
called a "swap" or "remap" command? I don't think it's the Map Copy
command - that's more about copying a preset drum kit source to
another location. Is it the Pad Type setup under the Trigger Setup
Edit Mode? I don't think that's it either....

If you have any more specifics on how to do it, or what the name of
the UTIL command is, I'd greatly appreciate.

In regards to the crosstalk, the new hi-hat snare and extra tom are
all connected to the "snare bar." Are the vibrations causin that
crosstalk. maybe I should mount the h-hat on an old stand. Would
that help?

Yes, it is a universal change to the triggering.
