Adding an E Multipad Like the DD-55 To a Kit

Adding an E Multipad Like the DD-55 To a Kit

Can one add an electronic pad setup like the Yamaha DD-55 to a III
kit and interface it so it will output through the same place. i.e.
headphones or external amp/speaker.

I was wondering about adding something like that into a kit to add
sounds like wood blocks or cowbells or chimes etc.

Can that be done?

Thanks,

TomBk

I suspect it may be doable via MIDI. At a minimum, take the output
of the DD-55 and put it to the Mix-In on the DTXPRESS where you
would typically put a CD-player. If you want the CD player too and
can't get MIDI to do what you want, then get an inexpensive mixer!
