Oh I just taped it aroud with duct tape and for your info it's my second mouse pad patch that I put onh yeah I beat the hell of it but my bass pad is like new.

mouse pad cut to fit would do the trick. May I ask how you attached it?

Well thanks to everyone that has replied.  It looks likes duck tape, a
cut up mouse pad, and paying attention to my playing habits and
possible sensitivity adjustment will solve the problem.  The patch
from a mouse pad really sounds like a great idea, as I can already see
 some chafing on the kick rubber from the felt beater and I can see
where it will dampen the bounce.

I'll let you all know how it turns out.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
