Pintech dual-zone not triggering the rim

Pintech dual-zone not triggering the rim

1999-12-12 by vcrmac@earthlink.net

Hi Jim,
I'm usually good for the "duh" solutions that people have
already tried so don't be insulted... Are you running a
stereo cord out of the pad and into the module? You could be
running into the same problem that some of us had in the
setup when we unknowingly used a mono plug for the
hi-hat and couldn't get the open or spash sounds. Even if
you're running a splitter from the pad to mono into the module,
it won't work, as the unit will only read one of the triggers. It
needs stereo out and in.

Hope this is a simple solution that works as I also hope to
get a Pintech for my snare if all you guinea pigs can work out
the bugs. Ha.
Later,
Rick

Subject: pintech dual zone
I purchased a concertcast pad from pintech at another store today,
and cannot seem to get it to trigger off the rim on either the sw. on the
snare or on input 9/10. So I cannot say they are in fact compatible. It appeared to work
at the place where I first purchased the dtxpress, so I may have a bad pad/trigger. I'll have
to investigate this further. Sorry for the confusion. I guess it still a ????
regarding Pintechs(dual zone) on the dtxpress.Jim
