Hi everyone:
I have an idea with another musician who is disabled and uses a Yamaha drum
set.
We would like to see if there is anyone on these lists who can help us find
a
Yamaha person with certain connections.
What we are looking to do is to set up a liason or department within Yamaha
which would have a close relationship with the disability community for
music.
I imagine Yamaha sponsoring something like a workshop or even showcasing
musicians with disabilities, as a way of 1) promoting the "can-do" attitudes
that make it possible to do anything we want and 2) give Yamaha additional
exposure to market segments that they might not otherwise reach.
I have tried to contact Yamaha's corporate office in CA with only a
snail-mail
address from Yamahadrums.com. Any suggestions for contacts would be very
much
appreciated.
