Hi guys
just a quick question. I would like to use some of the sounds from
the files posted on the group. How do I load these setting from the
files?

Hi Nigel,

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to be getting to your question so late.
All the members seem to be convalescing from too much holiday cheer
and/or preparing for one last hurrah tomorrow night. Just to be
clear, the DTXpress does not allow new samples to be loaded from the
outside; every sound eligible for download into your module is one
that your module already has. But members have set them up in
combinations with various permutations that may be instructive or
otherwise useful to others. To share kits and sounds, assuming that
they came from, or are going to, the same model of Yamaha module,
you'll need to download DTXchange from our DTXpressions site, which
has a link at the bottom of the gateway page. Once you get there,
click "Downloads" at the top of the page and then "DTXchange." Just
follow the instructions. By the way, DTXchange is also a valuable
tool because it allows you to back up all of your data in case of you
have to do a factory reset, the battery suddenly fails, etc., or to
store extra kits if you've exhausted all of your user slots in the
memory.
