carbosticks

Hey you guys,

has anybody got any experience with carbosticks? Until now I'm using
Zildjian anti-vibe and I love 'em (far less vibrations), but I already
broke a few. Do the carbosticks vibrate more then the anti-vibes? It
seems they don't break as easy as wooden sticks.

thnx in advance

Tom

Tom,

I have carbosticks and Zildjian anti-vibes. I like both and they both
do a good job of killing vibrations. I tend to use the Zildjians
because I bought the wrong carbosticks - they have a small round tip
which doesn't work as well as an elongated tip on teh DTXpress (not as
loud). If you buy the correct tip they should be good. They are
quite a heavy stick, but also have the lowest stick noise of all of
the sticks I have. I like the surface which is not as slippy as
wooden sticks.

Keith.

Hey Keith,

thanks for your answer, I've bought me a pair 5a regular tip. I like
them. The pad noise is lower en the vibrations are less. I think the
anti-vibes do a better job on de vibrations, but the carbosticks look
better.
