Other options to purchase DTXpress

2005-02-17 by shuman_jr

All:
This is probably a stupid question, but do any of you know another
place to purchace a used dtxpress I or II besides your typical web
auction site? I want to buy another rig but the only outlet I come
up with is Ebay. Are the early I or IIs fairly obsolete right now?
Another thing is price, I really don't want to spend much over five
or six bills at the moment. I bought my first dtxpress I from a co-
worker. Man that was easy. Got to try before I buy sort to speak.
Anyway, thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks. Shuman.

Hi Shuman,

In addition to calling or emailing Ed Morin at drumbalaya.com to ask
whether he can cobble together anything for you from his used
inventory, you can try drummersweb.com/ads and harmony-central.com/
drums/classified.html for secondhand e-drums. Used DTXpress I and IIs
seem to come up pretty regularly. But, to be safe, I'd ask Ed Morin,
or one of his staff, first. You can say the DTXpress Group sent you.

hi shuman. this may sound like a stupid answer, but did you try
phoning local music stores? i got my dtxpress II for about five bills
(canadian) from the local drum store. it was a factory demo, but still
carried the full warranty. you never know, you might get lucky.

I called Drumbalaya about this price and they said it was for a
blemished one and that there were no more left.
