Yes. When I see things like this happen. I want to warn people or let the seller know that he hasn't done his homework (or maybe he has?). That's why it's called a "buyer-beware" market-place :) emf <liberatusvirus@...> wrote: Did any of you happen to notice the DTXpressIII SP selling currently on ebay with a "Buy It Now" price of $3500? The "awesome extras" that apparently justify a price that exceeds that of a new DTXtreme IIS by $1,000 are a Fender amp, a set of headphones, a double- kick pedal, and two pairs of sticks. Leaving aside that the Fender amp is most likely a guitar amp, which would be inadequate with an e-drum kit, the idea that the cost of these extras could possibly raise the price of even a little-used DTXPIIISP to $2,000 above its fixed selling price new has me scratching my head--hard enough to scrape my brain. With a four band eq, I think it would sound ok......for $129 anyway __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Plan great trips with Yahoo! At $129, it's probably power-deficient, its highs truncated, and its elements unable to handle e-drum transients. Not to cast asparagus on anyone without real evidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if the amp were simply added to the auction to make the deal seem sweeter than it is to someone who hadn't done any homework.
