pcy65s question

pcy65s question

2005-05-01 by Marco Vallero

Hi everyone, I bought a DTXPRESS 3 a couple of weeks ago after a
drumming break that lasted over 15 years, by the way I'am 49 but still
alive and kicking. I am very pleased with the kit, never thought an
electronic set could produce such amazing sounds and give me so much
fun. There's only one problem, I can't get choke sounds from the pcy65s
cymbal. Any suggestions ?

Hi Marco,

Welcome. I assume that you bought the kit new. If you didn't, some of
the settings might be wrong. I also assume that the cymbal in question
is the PCY65s and not the unchokeable PCY65. Make sure that you're
using a stereo cable that's in good working condition. Check whether
the pad-type setting in the Trigger menu for the cymbal's input is
PCY65S. Hopefully, one of these easy solutions will work.
