Safe Arrival

Safe Arrival

2005-09-22 by Stephanie Ellison

I made it here early this morning at 5:30, after being on the road for 10 hours!
It was a nightmare, going west on 90 Alternate! I spent 6.5 hours on the
dang thing. If you have to evacuate, DO NOT GO DOWN 90 ALTERNATE!!! You will
spend at least that much time on it, as there's construction in one of the towns
where 90A and 104 FM meet. If you have to take it, at least head north on 36.
Northward roads have a higher priority over east-west roads. I-10 was really
easy, cruising at around 55-65 (that was at 3-5 AM, though).

I'll keep you posted in the next few days. Now, I have to get food and hunker
down for the next few days.
