PCY130s being erratic

I have a PCY130s on my DTXpress3 that misses hits fairly often. I took it apart, but there's not much going on in there. I switched it from my crash to the ride position, and it still misses about once in every 20 hits. It seems to always be in the same spot, which is right in the middle of the bottom half, where you would normally hit. If I move off to the right or left, it seems to trigger fine. Also, the edge works fine. Is there anything I can do besides buy a new one? Thanks, Mike
