Can anyone tell me if it is possible to purchase one of the tubes for
the original DTXpress rack? I've called a couple of music stores and
most say they don't know or I have to buy the whole Rack. SamAsh keeps
telling me they are waiting to hear back from Yamaha(for 4 days now).
If you know of a place or how I can please let me know. I've also left
a couple of messages for yamaha support/parts in CA. Haven't heard
back from them either.
Thanks

Hi, If I were you, I'd keep checking on ebay...there are always extra
DTX parts that are being sold.

Also I bought some 5 ft tubes to customise my rack from this place...

Not 'authentic' Yamaha Tubing, but reallly, it's all just aluminum
tubing in the end! I absolutely can't tell the difference, except for
the plastic end caps.

Thanks for the web site. I ended up doing something
similar. Except I used a piece of 1 1/2" wood dowel.
Painted it a semi flat black and ended up with the
same thing. You can't tell the difference unless you
look at the ends or take the pieces apart. They weigh
a bit more. But not much. Thanks again for the help
