No Cymbal Choke When Recording Midi

No Cymbal Choke When Recording Midi

2006-05-14 by zapaxe

..If just recently realised this because I don't do a lot of Cymbal
Choking, let alone do lot of Midi Recording...If I record myself
playing my kit, using my DTXpressIII module into Cubase VST 5/32, then
when I play the Midi back into my module, the Midi does not follow
that Choke Function....
Do I need to set something up in the Midi Perameters, or does this
function not translate with Midi?
Does it have to do with the Cubase Drum Edititor or Drum Map in which
I had to create?

Thanks , Steve

Hi Steve,

Yes because you use the RHH130 as a hi-hat controller, you have to set
in your DTXPress III a user trigger configuration that defines "RHH"
for the pad #8. See your drumset manual for further details.
