1st...i have a yamaha dtxpress2e.
2nd...this is an excellent site for this instrument and i read the 
postings diligently.
...
ive always used the kit for practice with cordless headphones...sounds 
great.
...
i play drums for 2 bands. last night a used the kit and plug into into 
a mixer/amp.  about ten minutew into playing, the kit just froze. i 
coud see the gauges and lcd were frozen.  i turned it off and on...it 
was back to normal. 
...i'd like to know why it froze...? what did i do or not do that 
caused this?  also, im using a double kik pedal and it cancels out. (i 
have read this in other post)
any suggestions???

1. Freezing - I cannot think why that should happen.  Possibly a power
glitch; bad connection on the power connection at the back?  Make sure
the cable is looped round the lug on the back of the module. Is the
power supply the correct one?

2. Kick pedal missing - you need to play around with the rejection
parameters.  Try reducing them to zero for the kick pad.  Does it only
happen when playing live?  If so, there have been reports of problems
when you are close to the speaker - the vibrations get picked up by
the pads if it is very loud and you are too close.

for #1...it is the correct power supply. its the one that came with the kit. this was the 1st time that it happened after i bought it. this was a new kit when i got it.
i will be using the kit a lot more lately...ill keep an eye on it.
for #2....only when it plug in to a mixer/amp. im using a double kik pedal . ill play around the adjustment....ill keep u guys posted.
i will be triggering this weekend using dd triggers....so the setup will be triggers to dtx brain...to a yamaha mixer (i thinks its mz10/2) going to a qsc plx2400 power amp (running it on at 425 watts per channel at 8ohms)....ill keep u guys posted
