My opinion is that zones 1,5,6,7 are the stereo 3-zone inputs since that's were the snare and three zone cymbals go. The toms and kick inputs 2,3,4,8 are just standard 2-zone stereo. What is interesting is that the hihat input is a stereo 3-zone input. I wonder if they are looking to do a 3 zone hihat pad, since the top portion of the RHH130 is just basically a PCY130S pad with slight modification? They could easily use the PCY130sc pad configuration on a new RHH style pad and do a little programming to give you a three zone hihat pad. I do believe the red knob is fully functional on the TP100 pad and most likely would be functional on the other 3-zone inputs as well. OGD ________________________________
