good soundcard to record to pc?? also midi or line in?

hi whats a good soundcard thats not to expensive that will give me a 
good sound when trying to record my dxtxpress III to pc?

Also should i do it via midi or line in? what are the advantages 
disadvantages i have no experience with either and really want some 
help so i can make a good recording of my band

Midi will not record the sound of the drum kit.  It just records which
drum has been hit, when, and how hard.  Depending on how you then play
the midi file it could sound nothing like the drum kit you used.  To
get the same sound you hear, you need to record from the line out of
the DTXpress.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
