Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi everybody,

I'm thinking of buying a midi multi effectsprocessor. But I'm 
wondering if it's possible to control the effectprocessor by the 
DTXpress. 

One way would be by recording a sequence with the midicontrol data 
into the DTXPress and trigger it with a pad to activate the 
effectsprocessor.

Has someone experience with such a settup and will it work?
