When the lithium battery goes dead ?

When the battery goes out in the control unit, can you change the battery and where would you find one ? What type ?(DTXplorer)
I'm sure its in my manual ~ but where's my manual....? lol

You can download the manual - there is a link in the "Links" section here.

As usual according to the manual: "When the backup battery is running low, the display indicates "Battery Low." In this case, immediately memo the data settings, then have qualified Yamaha service personnel replace the backup battery."

However, the battery in the DTXpress is a simple lithium button cell in a holder and people have changed it themselves successfully.  I would assume the DTXplorer is the same.  Have a look at this link:

By the way, all the DTX series (DTXplorer included) will display "Battery Low" when it is ... low, according to the manuals.
