Roland CY-5 compatibility

Roland CY-5 compatibility

2009-11-18 by bigbearstyx

Wondering if anyone knows if the DTXpress brain can accept a dual zone Cy-5 HH cymbal.? I know the brain handles 3 zone snare- and 3 zone chokables (in the right imput)-
and the HH imput has full funcionallity for opn clsd splash etc--
BUT is the HH imput capable of detecting a dual zone cymbal as well.? If not~ can the brain be 'changed' to make it work somehow?

I don't know for certain about the CY-5, but the DTXpress can certainly take a dual zone hihat - I use a PC65S to get an edge sound from the hihat.

Keith.

My CY-5 works great with default settings on my dtxtremeIII so I'm assuming it will work just the same.

My cy-5 works great with my dtxtremeIII and the factory settings so I would think it's not going to be a problem.
