TP65S Hi-hat problem

TP65S Hi-hat problem

2009-11-08 by jimboush

Hello,

I recently purchased a DTXpress standard. I am using a TP65S for the hi-Hat. When i hit the edge of the pad it sounds like the snare. It keeps coming up as 1 snare on the module everytime i hit the edge and try to change settings with the pad. How can i fix this problem so when i hit the edge of the pad it sounds like the hi-hat?

Select 'voice'. Hit the hihat rim. You will now see the voice assigned to the hihat rim. The fist letter is probably 'S'. Change that to 'H'. Now move the cursor to the right and you can select one of the many hihat sounds. Remember to save the kit when you have finished.

You will find more details in the manuals. If you haven't got the manuals, there is a link to where you can download them here in the links section.
